Adult SEO

Adult SEO and site builds, from a practice that has done this for fourteen years.

Most agencies will not take this work, and most that do will not tell you what they charge. We have run search in restricted sectors for over fourteen years, on sites that carry real traffic, and we build escort agencies and directories from scratch to the client's preference. The rate is published on the same page as everything else.

Closed channels

The sector is harder, so the work is different.

Adult is not ordinary SEO with a warning label. The channels most agencies rely on are closed, which changes where the effort goes and why the generic playbook fails here.

What does not work here

  • Paid search, largely unavailable to the sector
  • Mainstream press, which will not cover you
  • Link networks that approach adult sites
  • One processor or host that can drop you overnight

What holds

  • Technical SEO on a heavy, image-dense listing site
  • Coverage earned through the sector's own routes
  • Custom moderation and verification tooling
  • Portability, so no one provider can end the business

On link building, since it is where the sector is sold the most nonsense

There is no press release and no journalist to email. What exists is the sector trade press, editorially reviewed directories, adjacent wellness and lifestyle coverage that mainstream publishers will run because the piece is not explicit, industry events, and data worth citing. It is slower than buying and it survives an audit, which in a sector where a domain is hard to replace is the only sensible bet. The full method is on the link building page.

Build from scratch

Escort agencies and directories, built to your preference.

A full custom build. The design is drawn for the brand and the site is coded by hand, so the taxonomy, the search and the moderation are built for how the directory works, and nothing is bolted onto someone else's product.

Listings and profiles

Profile and listing structures designed for the sector in place of a generic post type, with the fields, media and states an agency or directory uses.

Search and filtering

Faceted search with real logic: categories, services, location, availability and the filters your users reach for, built to stay fast as the directory grows.

Moderation and verification

The tooling to run it day to day. Approval flows, verification, reporting, and the controls that stop a listing site becoming a liability.

Reviews and galleries at scale

A reviews system that holds up under volume, and galleries served in modern formats from cache so an image-dense site still loads on a phone.

Age assurance and compliance

Age verification, labelling and consent handling designed into the templates, consistent across every page, and maintainable, so none of it is bolted on once and forgotten.

Portable infrastructure

Built for specialist high-risk hosting and payment providers, and portable enough that swapping one is a configuration change, not a rebuild.

Evidence

Two we work with in the sector.

A national directory and a London agency. Neither is named, because being named is rarely in an adult business's interest, so we describe both and list neither. The figures that are measured are marked as measured.

Build and SEO

A London escort agency

  • Profile and listing system coded from scratch
  • SEO handled on the same build
  • Pages stay fast and indexable as profiles are added
  • Roster run day to day without a developer

Why there are no screenshots

Discretion is part of the job in this sector. The directory positions above are measured and real, and the same figures appear on the city pages elsewhere on this site. The client names stay off the page because that is what an adult business almost always wants, and if you engage you get the same discretion.

Cost

What it costs.

Restricted sector work is billed at £220 an hour where standard work is £95, and the rate is published and explained on the rates page. Builds are quoted as a fixed scope once the directory is specified. Minimum engagement is 4 hours.

Audit and technical SEO

From £2,100

Indexation, classification, crawl on large listing sets, gallery performance and the link profile assessed together, with a prioritised plan.

Directory or agency build

Scoped

A full custom build from a clean install, configured to your preferences, with the search, moderation, verification and compliance tooling the site needs.

Retained programme

From £880/month

Four hours a month at the restricted rate, for ongoing technical SEO, earned link work and the maintenance an active directory requires.

Time is logged as it is spent and the ledger is open to you. Full breakdown on the rates page.

FAQ

Questions clients ask

Why is the rate higher for adult than for other sectors?

Because the usual levers are closed, so more of the result has to be built by hand. Paid search is largely unavailable, mainstream press will not cover you, and the link networks that approach the sector are the ones we refuse. What is left is technical work and coverage that is earned, and that takes longer than a brief where you can simply buy your way forward.

The rate is £220 an hour against the standard £95, it is published on the rates page alongside everything else, and the arithmetic is the same hours multiplied out. It is a specialist rate for continuous work in a closed sector. It is not a risk premium, and it sits well above the £16 to £120 you will find quoted publicly, most of which is offshored volume work. That is a different service, and if it is the one you want, buy it there.

Is £220 an hour not a lot for SEO?

Yes, measured against general SEO it is, and we would rather agree with the question than argue with it. The standard rate on this site is £95, and most sites should pay that.

What the higher number buys is somebody who already works in this sector continuously, on an established site, and who will not reach for the link networks and paid placements that make adult SEO cheap elsewhere. If that constraint does not matter to you, the cheaper end of the market is real and available. If it does, this is what it costs.

Can you build an escort agency or directory site from scratch?

Yes, and it is a large part of what we do here. A full custom build, never a marketplace template: the design drawn for the brand, the templates coded by hand, and the taxonomy and search built in from the start for the way the directory works.

That covers listing and profile structures, faceted search and filtering with real logic, categories and location handling, a reviews system at scale, galleries served fast, member areas, and the moderation and verification tooling an agency or directory needs to run day to day. Everything is configured to your preferences from a clean install, not adapted from someone else's site.

How do you handle age verification and compliance?

As a technical requirement built into the site, not a banner bolted over it. Age assurance, record keeping where the jurisdiction requires it, clear labelling, and consent handling designed into the templates so it is consistent across every page instead of forgotten on the new ones.

We are not your legal advisers and will not pretend to be. What we do is build the site so the controls your jurisdiction requires are in place and maintainable, and flag where something looks like it needs a lawyer instead of a developer.

What about payment processing and hosting?

Both are harder in this sector and both are solvable with the right setup. Adult is high-risk to a mainstream processor and to a lot of hosts, so the build has to assume specialist providers and be portable enough that changing one is a configuration change, with no rebuild.

We build so the site does not depend on any single processor or host that could drop you without notice, which is a real risk here and one that has ended businesses that ignored it.

Will search engines even index an adult site properly?

Yes, with SafeSearch handling done correctly. The site declares its adult status properly, so search engines classify it and do not penalise it. That is the opposite of what happens when a site tries to hide what it is and gets treated as deceptive.

Everything else is ordinary technical SEO applied to a heavy, image-dense site: indexation control across large listing sets, crawl budget spent on pages that earn, structured data, and Core Web Vitals on galleries that are usually the slowest thing on the page.
